  2. what rates can you discharge them at ? - does it say on battery ? , having secured one in place thats hard to get too , wanted to balance it in place, can it be done or am i going to have to take it out, its a 6.6v having just looked at picture at HK it says 20c also says 3.4 so what does 20c tell me for discharge and what does 3.4 mean, Edited By iqon on 22/03/2014 13:05:08
  3. Posted by john melia 1 on 16/03/2014 21:27:30: Iqon I just used the outer from a snake , used a bit of heat to bend it to the required shape , epoxied it in place and it works a treat . About a mil and a half in the syringe , open the throttle squirt the fuel in , close throttle and flip . Jobs a goodun having spent around 6 hours trying to get push rod fitted to choke, was still having difficulties with clearance. Have fitted my version of your suggestion and works a treat.... I may get some funny looks when i turn up at field with 3 fuel pipes showing, but this is definitely the way to go

  5. Posted by Justin K on 20/03/2012 13:43:18: Thanks Steve, I have an OS 91 fs that was destined for another project and a 70 fs. The 91 is not to much bigger than the 70 . I have read that people who have fitted a 70 have found it underpowered in this airframe so maybe I will wait till its assembled and offer the 91 up to see whas happens balance wise. Or then again I could just fit the two stroke I bought to go with it in the first place. 70fs should be plenty big enough to have some fun.

Jobs a goodun I'm just surprised that a mil and a half reaches, would have thought it would just fill pipe and come back out, was considering your suggestion but from top using a fuel dot, however having obtained a HT bolt to fit the throttle instead of the soft metal bolt i used, I was going to have another go at that first..
  7. I hope he gets reinstated because he deserves it but i also dont want badger gp to alter the points and shummy was not mentioned on the BBC

    What Wot 4?

I have just built this ( mk3 classic ) its the first i have done completely on my own , if i can do it anybody can, if you shop around you can get it delivered for £81.00 i haven't flown it yet, but it will be stronger than the artf, its the only one that looks like this.... I have had a few artf`s and there great , everybody should try one
  9. Do you have to beat me at everything, Its not compulsory....
  10. ive done better than expected, but 5 more points would have been better..
  11. Well this didn't last long, might have to invest in some pipe and a syringe.....
  12. I didnt pick Lewis for pole, thought his car would let him down again....
  13. Gone the way i should have in the first place, fitted ball link to choke, had to fit longer bolt to throttle to give some clearance, then come up with a way of keeping it all in place that wont cause problems, hey presto it works, although i was foolish enough to think i could get away with fitting cowl before i tried engine, choke set up works just fine but i need to set the throttle up again - on a warmer day -

  15. for those that don't know, this is to what i am referring to as a interlocking choke, this is what the engine is on and question for John M - because of the rear carb would you run the tube through the box on the front and just point it in the right direction.??

  19. Posted by john melia 1 on 14/03/2014 22:21:50: Hmm I beg to differ on the neccessity of a choke , I have run a tube which protrudes through the bottom of the cowl and terminates at the mouth of the carb . All I do is give the carb a shot of fuel via a syringe , and the engine usually starts after around 5 to 6 flicks , no choke .   and the tube stays there permanently ???   ive spent 2 hours on it and got no further...   Edited By iqon on 15/03/2014 00:18:09
