  2. Hi All, With such a large canopy this fuselage doesn't need that much planking, with a bit of work with the razor plane & Permagrit sanding block it will be less like a thrupenny bit 😀 Regards Ray
  3. Hi All, As Dennis is howling outside what better evening to start planking the fuselage 😀 with 1/8th x 3/8" strips cut from 4" sheet with my 36" steel rule, best investment ever. regards Ray

Hi All back in the early days of affordable proportional radio sets I learned to fly On the slope with rudder right stick and elevator left on a Sanwa Mini 2 function set £49.99 in 1977, progressing to 4 function in 1981 kept the turning/ailerons on the right, hence mode 1 😀😀 Regards Ray   Edited By Ray Wood 4 on 13/02/2020 20:47:17

Hi all, Great shame it's off but I'm sure few of us have any idea of the running expenses of a show are with Regards to insurances and fees to the commercial aerodrome to partly suspend full-size flying for the weekend. Big loss to the model boating crew as they normally have loads of clubs exhibiting 😮 Regards Ray

  13. Hi all, After the Reliant Regal Saloon and getting married in 1977 we bought the 700es Bug, which was good for 90mph on the clock ! Superseded when I got my first company car in 79 sold it to buy carpets for our first house 😮 wish I had kept it but £700 was a lot of money back then when I bought my first Skyleader 35mhz set for £175 !!!   16. Hi all, Big step forward with the rear fuselage sides glued to the front assembly, inverted over the drawing to get it straight. Coming up soon lots of bulkheads to cut & fit and the start of the planking 😀I Regards Ray

Hi Tony, Yes my first car'ish vehicle was a Reliant Regal Super Saloon, when at college, everybody took the pis* out of it 😀 but everybody quite happy to pile into it when it was raining to go down the pub! The trick to driving a 3 wheeler safely was to realize it hasn't got a wheel on each corner 😀 Regards Ray
  18. Hi all, Slowly making progress, and thought it would be a good idea to take some of the 1/4" sheet out behind the c of g to reduce the nose ballast required , so away with my Gaskin hole cutter we go 😀 Regards Ray
