  2. Glad your happy with your Futaba cymaz. cheers.
  3. Hello All, It was May 11 that I first asked X20 who has one. So thought it may be time for an update and see how people are doing with it. Good, bad, very happy, sold it, hated it whatever let me know. Regards Wayne.
  4. Good effort, great project keep us informed.
  5. Morning Derek, try this website. http://www.titanenergy.co.nz/titan_july_2014_010.htm click on JR 3810 or 8103. Enjoy, regards Wayne.
  6. Hello Michael, good luck with finding a plan and please let me know if you find one. I still have my Miri 100 foam wing version, I built it with my dad a very long time ago. It’s in the loft and the wings are still in the original box, it flew really nice. May have to dig it out, good luck. Wayne.
  7. Thanks for all the info guy’s, but I think will leave the X20 for now. Think I shall just get a new X9D with some Access receivers for now and be done with it. Hopefully will have another look in the future when it settles down a bit, I still like the look of ethos operating system and will look forward to having a proper look at the transmitter in time. Cheers.
  8. Thanks for info Andy Meade, glad all ok with your X20.
  9. I am thinking of the X20, as was wanting to update. I have a mix of 3 transmitters for one reason or another at the moment but want to focus on the one only. I have a Teranis so ok with open tx and FrSKy and thought of going to the Access as it was an up to date protocol. Plus I like the look Ethos from what I have seen. We will see.
  10. Nice article here from YouTube.
  11. Good stuff Kevin, you seem happy with your new transmitter.
  12. Nice info Kevin, thanks. Did have the sim downloaded but was on my old laptop but gave the general idea of ETHOS.
  13. Never used anymore than 3 flight modes anyway, cheers again Kevin.
  14. Thanks Kevin, let us know how you get on.
  15. Cheers Andy, let us know how you get on with it.
  16. Has anyone actually got a FrSKY X20 yet, or even picked one up ? Interested in your thoughts if you have, I’ve seen the video’s etc but would prefer a real users opinion ie- someone who payed for it or was at leased interested in it. Cheers for any replies Wayne.

    XHT module

Just for info I see FrSky are selling a hack module again the XHT. Anyone used one ?
  20. Morning All, enjoyed reading this on engines. The video by Pete Christy is epic as I had a Lark 2 as a first helicopter, was a bit later though and I forget how hard that sort of stuff was to fly. Anyway thanks again Pete. cheers Wayne
  21. Thanks for the info Pete. I shall have another look at it when I get time. It’s a bit of a blow for me really as was hoping to stay with OpenTx for the near future. But does seem a bit of a constant battle for anything that does not go to a flight controller in some way or electric. Thanks for your help everyone, much appreciated. Wayne.
  22. Have put onto another model memory and trim all works fine. Put it onto ccpm and the trim function for the throttle channel has stopped. Being a helicopter function it could now all be linked to flight modes and throttle curves or just the way I have programmed it. On electric helicopters I never used the throttle trim, so all was good. Anyway thanks all for your input, all gratefully accepted, put a module in the back of my old JR PCM9x and good to go. Maybe will look into this further when I have more time. cheers again.
  23. Morning all, Ive had my Taranis a while and flown some electric helicopters with it ok. Thought I would dig out an old MA XCell I/C model and cannot get the throttle trim to work at all. I believe others may have mentioned this before, maybe it was Pete Christy I’m not sure.(apologise if it wasn’t), any way if anybody has any light to shed that would be great. Thanks Wayne.
