seeing as were on the subject of cars iv'e just had a letter on the 23/1/2017 stating that on the 6/12/2016 my car was illegally parked in a disabled bay without a blue badge this is the first iv'e heard of this?? its a fine for £124.00 iv'e asked for proof of this and they have told me they will not supply with this is this a SCAM and what can I do about it ?????????? iv'e heard people tell me these xxsxstards put the ticket on you windscreen photograph it then take it of and bin it and you know nothing of it till months later when the balliff turn up

our club £110 per year +BMFA grass strip mown weekly in summer 24/7 access container for two sit on lawn mowers of which we have three, toilets, and clubroom all mod cons?? approx. 19 member but we will go to 25, no nonsense club we put the world to rights every week(make of that what you will) two BMFA examiners regular food?? couldn't wish for a better club??we are in Cheshire ?? fly large models and electric + petrol and old timer type models and sometimes control line, sorry NO HELECOPTERS you come and fly three or four times for free then you are asked if you would like to join or you are asked to leave this has worked well for us since 1990

I use those servos quite a lot I think they may be made by different companys if you notice some are TOWER PRO some are TOWARD PRO note the different spelling I have a lot of these servos all have two ball races in them I did buy 4 from some were in Birmingham that were advertised as having two ball races having opening them they were found to have plastic bushes just like you say so I sent them back I also notice that the servo you've pulled to pieces says PROSTER on it there are that many clones out there so your servo could be a clone of a real tower pro servo or a clone of a clone???????

I have a d s m contact 140 it has a rossi 40 in it and the mini pipe it came with, really I should put a tuned pipe on it but it flys okish needs a dose of trimming just getting round to it, I also have a joker with a webra speed 61 re piped motor goes like the xxxx off a shovel its on 35 meg never changed it to 2.4 flys as if on rails lovely

flown and had a couple of dave smiths models, dalotel and joker really nice flyers still have the joker with a webra speed 61 and pipe retracts goes like s- - - ??? balistic

flew the tornado yesterday (sunday15/5/2016 could not believe how well it flew retracts worked fine, asked by a club member after what the trim was like er not touched them I replied?? everything worked as it should well impressed

took the motor out of the tornado today webra 61 pumped, the pump is an integral part of the back plate it is made by perry?? bit of tube on the inlet and blow through it all clear both ways so I took the back plate off no moving parts there is a black disc in the back plate dosnt seem to move if I try to push it how it works I don't know re assembled it all and come to put the motor back in the model put it in and tried blowing the tank up zilch coming out of the feed undid the motor and noticed the feed pipe kinked took the motor back out and turned the back plate round put the motor back in still kinked give up took the feed straight to the carb ill try that

I have masses of solarfilm from the 70s and 80s a good friend of mine used to have a model shop and was a friend of I think mr solarfilm hence the large amount of film I have its manly seconds were the colour was a bit off or there was a fault in it and it was skipped and it came out of the skip , I have just covered a glider with some of it from the early eighties film that is I was give some of hobbykings film and found it very good so have stuck to that I find using film quicker than paint ect ect and easy to apply

the model is mine built from a plan, the pump is built into the backplate just in and out it might be dry as the motor has not been run for a long time or it could be goosed, the fuzz is light ply and balsa with foam wings and tail, its covered in film from hobbyking and most cut with a scalpel the words TORNADO and UKCAA were cut from film on a club members wifes machine? the electric retracts are from hobbyking also, weight about 7-8 pounds quess

I agree with Ian holme ,above ?in the 80s and 90s I used to fly at Elvington if memory serves me it was up for sale I had many words with Chris Bromley at the time about buying it for the BMFA SMAE his words to me were ITS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE NATS ?????? you could land the space shuttle on elvington and heres chris telling me its not big enough, he said what he ment to say was its not WIDE ENOUGH and the free flight boys would be going out of the airfield ??? I have been to the natsat barkston for a number of years and quess what the free flight boys go out of the air field and so do the chuck/n/duck as well I think its to late to do anything about the nats proberbly the end of an era

what is wrong with you honky tonks this is the third time I have mentioned this WHAT ABOUT WOODVALE er????? near the m6 motorway? and m27?? not much difference on size to Barkston, probably would fill all the needs to hold the nats and has been used in the past for model aircraft shows, is it because its TO FAR NORTH is that the problem for goodness sake WAKE UP

all this woffle above is all very well but the main thing is we need somewhere to hold the NATS ???? I have flown at the nats years ago, and have been to the last five nats with other club members and we make a long weekend of it (fri to mon )the REASON WE AND MANY MODELLERS GO is to see things we don't often see C/L FOR ONE in all its disguises ( scale , speed, combat, team race,) ect ect no I'm not???? I fly R/c have done since the seventies there is no other show were you can see all the different classes of model aircraft, the show line is for people to see what aero modelling is all about nice aircraft being flown nicely, nowhere can you see fun fly, aerobatics ,imac pylon racing. helicopters, and RC scale, all in one place to my mind its the only show for MODELLERS and the only place some trade go to eg PAW engines anyway,think ive jacknored enough ITS THE SITE WE NEED, IF WE HAD THAT I THINK THE REST WILL COME EASY

well me old Cuban eight youd have to do what we do,and book into a hotel,or premier lodge,or even camp,not a 520 round trip for us but hours on the motorway to get there to barkston nightmere place to get to

still think WOODVALE is a good site to hold the nats size for size not much in it between woodvale and barkston check it out ???? google earth???
