  1. I just checked the post and the plans from Brian had arrived. I’ll be off to the printers in a couple days.
  2. Once Brian’s plan arrives I intend to get it both scanned and printed. I’ll let you know how things line up. I am of the opinion, it’s close enough for our purposes. That is what sandpaper is for. 🙂 Dave
  3. Thanks for all the replies. I’ve been checking the Magazine Exchange regularly as well as EBay. I got part one on eBay. I know Sarik has the plan but they want the equivalent of $38. Canadian + shipping. It’s way more fun to track down a missing plan. I have 2 1/4 scale kits here but I suspect the 80” one will be more manageable.
  4. I have part 1 of the free pull out plan for the Piper Tri Pacer. I’ve spent the last couple years searching for the January 2000 issue with no luck. I am not interested in the mag, just the pull out plan. If anyone is willing to part with the plan, and ship it to Canada, please let me know. I’ll be happy to pay something for the plan and cover the postage. TIA
  5. Cox models did a plastic control line version when I was young. I thought it was the coolest model ever.
  6. I checked out their website. I couldn’t find anything on how to mix this stuff. If it is water based I assume it can be thinned with water? I always thought it was 2 part like the old K&B paint. I might give this stuff a try if it’s that simple.
  7. Are we talking warbird paints or warbird colours? For stirring old paint my favourite method is a piece of L shaped music wire. Chuck it into a drill or drill press and stir away.
  8. I stumbled across this site last week https://scalercengines.com
  9. Ulfilus, sounds like my place, god help my family when I go! Did your father belong to a local club? They may be able to help you sort things out.
  10. Might help a bit https://www.magazineexchange.co.uk/cw/RC-Model-World-2006
  11. Here is the other photo of 140 I’d found. It shows it was repainted at least twice. A question I have always has is, right behind the second cockpit there is a “ break “ line in the covering that goes up the side of the fuselage and over the top. I have not seen this feature on any other Tomtit. Any idea what it is.
  12. I came across this photo today, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. I think it is from the same set that David posted at the start of this thread.
  13. I did a little googling and came across this from Brit modeller https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/71816-rcaf-trainer-yellow/ So RCAF and RAF yellow were different. It gives fs# so should point you in the right direction. So you learn something new every day. I would have used the wrong yellow.
