  6. Also the threads spitfire bf110 and hurricane seem to be taken over by engine v motor and not about the kit itself and the building.
  7. It's wine time I stand corrected. The new kit is a fast build.
  8. Anyone fancy the ME109 this would compliment the builders of the spitfire and the hurricane and having spoke to Richard he also agrees a lovely plane. ?????
  9. Both builds look great. Keep it coming more info the better for when I start my second build ( sounds selfish ha). Spit in final stages looking forward to the 110 build.
  10. Hi all got mine but will not open the box until my spit is finished I'm at the painting stage.
  11. Hi everyone I am relatively new to the hobby taking it up last year on retirement (50) . I've cut my teeth so to speak on the faithful foamies the apprentice, wot4 and moved onto the eflite t28 and mustang. I am mid build on one of Richards spitfires and the experience is something I now regret not having down sooner in my life. For me it's probably the fact that I am new to the hobby and I already realise that you can get drunk on the hobby and buy new models at the push of a button. I have hounded Richard to purchase a 109 so that I would have a matching pair so to speak but I now except he hasn't kept one away somewhere so I have given up trying. He has informed me of the interest in the new twin model and I have already signed up to to it. We will all have our fav model but I think we should grab what is offered when we can. The quality and back up service Richard has supplied is second to none and before I found his site I was on the verge of purchasing a Hangar9 kit I have since calculated that the end cost of that model would have been 3 times as much. To me it's like that tv advert and the saying "When it's gone it's gone" we need to get behind people like Richard buy the plane if it's ticks the button even if the kit is stored in the attic you will be able to re sell it if you don't get around to making the build. I'm sure if the support is there other kits would follow.
