  1. Hi John, Thank you for those, these will help a great deal. Goes a long way in helping to understand the diagram he gave me on how he planned on improving the vertical stab. I'll give it a crack and see what I can bodge together
  2. Hi folk, A friend has kindly donated his Keil Kraft Ivory Gull model to me, however it is missing the tail section, and I cannot find any plans online for love nor money. Does anybody have the tail section plans please? I found this on here but nothing else; **LINK**
  3. I used to use Profili for traction kite design, takes a little bit of work to get used to it, but once you've done it once, you'll be flying.. (pun intended)
  4. I'd highly recommend starting with Arduino, there's a whole host of official and 3rd party Chinese knock offs of the boards, but I'd go for an Arduino UNO to start with. All you need is the board itself, a USB lead, the Arduino IDE software (Free of charge from the official website) and a bit of an idea what you want to try. Have a look at some of the education and beginner kits on eBay, you often get the board, components, projects in pdf format, and the lead. I use these things for all sorts of DIY projects ranging from interfacing ANPR cameras with gate controllers to full climate control systems for my reptiles, the limit is your imagination. There's also hundreds, if not thousands, of forums dedicated to the world of Arduino programming.
  5. I got one earlier and logged in, took a good hour before the password reset came through. Don't think my local club has gotten their e-mail yet as it's not on my list of affiliate clubs. Not a great deal of content on the events and training calendar yet, in fact there's ziltch! Edited By Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator on 08/10/2018 15:25:42
  6. This should be rated as triple X! That is a thing of pure unadulterated beauty!
