Good to see that at least you are attempting a bala model Adam and with a trainer characteristic, not resorting to a foamie thing! Good Luck with the build I suggest that you find a local club with a helpful beginners section? SW

Hi My reason for the aileron version is that I've already got a Junior 60 plus a scratch built KK Falcon (a monster) in my Vintage hanger. The original S60 version was considered, but I just fancied a slightly modified 'oldie' to add to the fleet. Memories of yesteryear for an octogenerian to pole about with on a calm day perhaps? Cheers for now Chris

Hi, the projected weight of the model is approx 4.25lbs (63" span) . Prop: wooden 11x6, Lipo, probably 3S 60C 2200Mah. I don't want to overpower the model as it was originally designed as a fairly placid trainer (1950's). I have a JUNIOR 60 that operates well on a similar set up but is/probably will be lighter than the Super 60. Cheers SW

Skippers Walker started following Sunrise 30a ESC Issues (new)

I have installed this ESC into a 2.9M Introduction F5J. The TX is a Futaba T6K. The usual basic set up instructions, respecting the throttle reverse position for Futaba have been followed. When attempting to advance the throttle slowly, the initial revs increase commences only in 3 very definite increments before being able to advance to the 'full' throttle position! I'm puzzled about this situation and wonder if there is some way of 'resetting' ESC and recommencing the set up? I have tried using a Sunrise 2 programme card but without effecting any change to the throttle issue! After fitting another brand of ESC the motor operates normally. Has anyone any suggestions or ideas about this apparent problem please? SW
