  1. Second side being bent into shape and left to dry. Cheers Steve
  2. Battery hatch half sheeted, Cheers Steve
  3. I have just ordered The Ohmen and if you are taking orders then one of each please. Cheers Steve
  4. Battery hatch frame work. Sheeting tomorrow. Cheers Steve
  5. Swizzle Stick and The Ohmen ordered as Sarik have the 10% off black Friday deal at the moment. OCD? After a lot of deliberation I decided to construct the cowl the same as I did on the Ballerina. Light ply plate cut and test fitted. Now I have to make the battery hatch, before the cowl so that the cowl can be shaped to the hatch. Cheers Steve
  6. GG No reason at all not to get into the habit, it is what I have always done.
  7. Steve J, I agree with others that the TX on first off last is the procedure that should always be followed.
  8. Thanks everyone. This is my sixth build and trust me I have learned so much, my first build had loads of filler which I decided was not good so my aim is to minimise the filler and ideally use none. What next? This is the stage when I start thinking about what to build next I am tempted by the Swizzle Stick for a quick build and winter hack. I like sticks . But back to the front I think. Cowl and battery hatch to sort out. Cheers Steve
  9. More progress on the tail. The part to fill the gap glued to the fin. and test fit which shows that a bit of trimming is needed. Which is obvious when the tailplane is in place. That looks better. Cheers Steve
  10. It's just a demonstration that you know more about electric motors than I know about IC engines.
  11. Wow thanks for that FF. Just one question does yours do all those manoeuvres? Hmm more to the point will mine? Cheers Steve
  12. Progress. Temporary T shaped to the fuselage. Balsa blocks made up. And sanded to shape. A lot of work for two small pieces of balsa is my first thought, but then it would look ugly without them, even at 50' Cheers Steve
