  1. That's good! Another decision you have made for me Peter Cheers Steve
  2. One more little part covered. In the background is the colour combination for the wing top. As I have no sense of colour matching, according to my ex, what do you think? Cheers Steve
  3. I am sure I will be corrected if I am wrong but don't you need a B Cert to fly over 7 kg?
  4. Thanks scallops it is then, now how can I make it even harder and a worthwhile challenge? Hmm... Todays production. Yes not a lot just two servo mounts and two ailerons covered. In my defence I do find these little parts fiddley. Cheers Steve
  5. Looking at the wing bottom this morning I decided that once in the air this will obviously be the bottom, which was the original intention. Now I need to make the top obviously the top. I have looked at the completed 2016 Ballerina photos and have decided to use white, light blue and jacinth. I do like the distinctive scalloped design, which I am assured is easy to do. So I will follow suit. I am also considering incorporating some curves on the fuselage. Hmm lots of thinking to do. Of course I could make my life easy by using one colour, as has been suggested by club mates. But where is the challenge in that? Cheers Steve
  6. Sparing you all the blow by blow detail here is the finished bottom of the wing. Cheers Steve
  7. So to the tricky bit. First set out the sides and use masking tape to give the side lines to work to. Measure, cut and check for fit. Looks good so onto the trickiest bit. This time I used Peters two pieces of tape method and wow it worked a treat. Iron in place and trim as usual. Cheers Steve
  8. Thanks once again for the compliment Peter. Nope you assumed wrong but I guess you knew that Started the second wing. The tricky bit next fitting the dark blue between the white. Which entails the trickiest bit, removing the backing from the HK dark blue covering film. Am I the only one that has difficulty with this, only dark blue as I have no problems with other colours. Cheers Steve
  9. Thanks for the compliments Peter and John. I had a good day yesterday, today I have to do even better Well that's according to my Dad Onwards and upwards. Cheers Steve
  10. More detail here which is Peter's build. SLEC you have to email or telephone apparently. Cheers Steve
  11. Thanks DaveyP. Here are more progress photos. and a bit of detail. finally the wing tip which is where I started this morning. Cheers Steve
  12. With tools to hand Let's get on with it Obviously I have not forgotten how to do it Cheers Steve
