  1. hi just a update .progress continues all be it slowly . everything a bit square at the moment will leave the shaping bit to as late as possible as I would only inflict hanger rash on it while still building , the retracts might be a bit long in the leg but I had these waiting to find a home so they will have to do Andy

  8. , truth be told we ALL have particular pilots who we don't enjoy/like flying alongside, what's being flown is not the problem...how and by who sometimes is...and that go's with all disciplines. John or ship them off to another club andy
  9. Posted by MaxG on 11/12/2016 16:32:57: As an aside, Alconbury used to have a nice Aggressor F5 as the gate guardian. Maxg was a fiberglass one I believe andy

  11. hi progressing slowly with my kit (my choice, nothing to do with the kit in case anybody was wondering ) but if your reading this Richard I would just like to say that the foam/veneer parts wings etc. are like rolls Royce quality ,I've built quite a few kits with these type of parts but these are by far the best I've come across absolutely superb Andy

  21. Posted by RICHARD WILLS on 15/06/2016 08:48:52: Hi Andy /Brian , We have had about ten of the Yaks flying in our club . All of the electric versions have been using a power train equivalent to a typical 1400mm FMS fighter. Typically 600kv motor , 4s 3300 or 3700 pack of about 30c . Because all of ours weigh less than 5.75lb (brown paper covered) They have very sprightly peformance , Prop wise , we use ether the FMS prop blades screwed to a dubro spinner back plate , or easier still , use the Dynam Tempest prop and spinner. I would think the Master airscrew would be similar performance . The above set up gives OS52 FS performance . Keep it light for the best result. We have flown both versions together , That set up must give 0.8 hp ! Richard Thanks for that Richard , its for the La7 getting close toi finishing now andy
  22. don't know if I,ve missed it in reading some where but can you tell me the recommended electric set up please andy
