I would love to know if any other members have had the same problems as myself over the years or am I just unlucky or could I just be lucky?  I've now been into model aircraft flying for many years and now run my own Model Aircraft Design business, and for god knows how long I've done it all, smashed them up, building mistakes, but the worst has got to be the wife?  WHY?  Simple for years she has not been intrested at all in any of the projects ive done, untill that is christmas just gone. What did I do? Same as any other person got a few planes and got the thypoon plans from RCM&E ( CHEERS DAVID  ) Well all my lovely new planes was coming and my wife as she always do wants to know whats what so I do the right thing and let her know what been bought and costs  ( Well just about) Anyway this plane came and it was the ARTF  Skystar that I was getting for someone, And as soon as I opened the box the wife said " Another Plane?" As soon as it was build and ready to take to my dear friends my wife saw it and before I could blink she fell in love with it and now wants to go flying after all them years. So come on guys lets have your story how you and your wife/partner got into flying

Simon you have a very valid point, but in my heart of hearts givin the choice ARTF OR BUILD it will be build time and time again. We all here on the site read so many times about people buying ARTF and what do they do? We all know smash bang wallop, No longer intrested and wasted a couple of hundered quid. Maybe the so called ARTF should come with nice little warnings, EG BMFA ect. Your 100% correct that kids now what things in an Instant and simply dont want to wait in this day and age.  Back when I started it was just about all Balsa kits. Mybe i'm just a die hard builder and always will

Hi I'm close to the big 40 this year and been building now for about 20 years and don't go to much on the ARTF, It's far more fun to your own from plans and then enjoy the flying.  Without a doubt in my mind the art of building is slipping away and it's about time people stopped buying the ARTF and got back to basics. It's been noted that a lot here are designing there own kits etc and my hat go off to these people. Maybe it's time to say NO ARTF IN UK? What do you think, Thats my view.  Paul

Erfolg the post office are duty bound under there own rule to pay you comensation X100 of the value of the postage you pain for any item lost in the system?  EG 30p stamp x 100 £30.  Just when did this happen to you.   Also for any item damaged via the post you can reclaim the full cost of the item and postage. When did the above happen?

I ordered a some stuff from TJD models sunday night and got it on Tuesday by royal mail. At the end of the day all I can say I feel it's down to the company

Barry how Free is FREE?  Its not as there is no such thing as a FREE LUNCH in this world. Well David it's over to you to clear up the matter? Are the plans really free?  I think not as we as modelers pay for the plan within the cost of the mag, And as for not having the typhoon done by June? Keep posted here as will prove that I will have it done when the plans get here as wish to make a start on it ASAP. And as for having the BALLS to complain? All I will say is YES I have got the Balls to complain as it was never a free plan to start with. Here is how I see it works? XYZ designer gives the plan to ABC mag and ABC Mag prints it to go in the MAG.  Normal price of MAGS about £3.80   Special issue £4.99? So Barry please explain how this is FREE, As for sure I cant quite work this out?
