  1. Simon P. Great to see your Q-Tee pics. I built one from an Airtronics kit way back in the late '70s. DC Merlin with (then) Sanwa mini gear on R/E. Terrific little flyer. I always meant to build the later shoulder wing version with ailerons. Maybe that could be your next project.
  2. One of the best R/C videos I've ever seen. Outstanding ! Oh that they were all that good.
  3. Could be a Veco .21 perhaps ? Made by K & B USA. If it is, they were quite highly regarded in their day i.e. 60s and 70s.
  4. I am well aware that there are ESCs for brushed motors having even built and used quite a few over the years. My question was - Can I use 4 brushless motors thru one 4 in 1 ESC for normal throttle control. That is, rather than using 4 dedicated ESCs.
  5. I am toying with the idea of building one of two electric 4-engined models I have been collecting data on. They are both fairly small and to save weight, I thought I would have to use 4 small brushed motors thru one ESC. Is it possible to use brushless units with a 4 in 1 ESC for normal throttle control so reducing the AUW even more ?
  6. Some lovely shots there. Here are some from a holiday in Tasmania March this year. The trains are quite similar.
  7. My favourite action shot circa 1980. Model is a Pilot ARF ( ABS fuselage ) 36" Ail/Elev., Cox QZ049. Radio is a Sanwa mini 2-channel converted to single RH stick. Flying off a disused bauxite open cast mine site in the Northern Territory, Oz.
  8. The 40 FSR I have ( circa 1980) has two 3mm x 0.6 tapped holes either side of the exhaust port where the No.743 silencer screws on.
  9. Tony, A quick shufti on Flea-bay shows a couple of Predator plans for sale. Someone down Surrey way.
