Hi, from my point of view I would say that if you intend to do anything other than simple three channel park flying, go for the twinstar, as ailerons give you much more control over the plane (you don't have to use the rudder) and also you may have to switch to a different stick arrangement when you change from trainers like the E* to anything with ailerons. The twinstar is a big aircraft which also in my opinion makes it much easier for a beginner as smaller aircraft (not the E* which is a good size) can get out of good vision for orentation very quickly.
