well its taken 3 days to read the joy of slope thats one hell of a thread you started timbo, obviously i was diverted to other stuff being xmas but i now know a lot more ,many thanks to all who contributed,i will be sussing out something local but i know the orme will pull me there,i have fished around that area many a saturday night so its not an insurmountable distance it just means i have to stay longer to make it worthwhile well thats my defense m'lord -

hi all,not quite sure the best place for this thread but here it is. i am being driven to distraction trying to find a servo wire and plug crimping kit,i can find articles on how to do it and also discussions on which one works best but i can't seem to find any for sale in the uk. help please.

i think as long as the flyer is getting satisfaction from his hobby then its up to him how much he spends, i fly both artfs and build models,i like flying but i love building because its not weather dependant. a couple of years ago i bought a futaba 10c which with an extra 35 mhz module came out at £500 i know its a lot of cash but i look at it as the trannie never leaves my hands so it should be safe, the idea of sending that sort of money into the blue would frankly scare me to death. with planes i suppose its a bit like gambling spend what you can afford to lose .

doubling back on itself will definately reduce the range, try out the side and up to the fin or at my club some models have it out of the bottom and along to the tail covered by fuel tubing to protect it.

normally they give you the amount for each side but i must admit 2ins does seem a lot especially for [low rates]
