I have used draught excluder as well with some success.
 
another method is to lay a bead of bathroom silicone sealant ( colour to suit incl clear ) and bed the wing down with a sheet of thin polythene between the wing wnd the bead.
 
make sure beds down level and wipe of surplus which squeezes out with a wet finger

Ross, another alternative which I've used sucessfully is Isopon car body filler. Same method as John L - put in on the wing seating, and sandwich a sheet of polythene between the wing and the seat. Make sure you fasten the wing down fully, just as you want it be. Wipe off the excess with a modelling knife. When its dry just sand down the sides a little. Bit of a weight penalty, but very tough.
