david goulding
Hi There I have a Hanger 9 Mustang and I dont know where to measure the C of G from. The instructions say the C of G should be 4.75 inches from the leading edge of the wing but since the cord of the wing tapers away from the fuselage do I measure at the wing root or at some other point? I feel quite let down as the instructions are quite good up to this point and although they state the importance of a correct C of G there is no diagram or photo to help! Dusty
I would measure from the closest point of the wing nearest the fuselage, ie take it from the taper of the wing leading edge and measure back! P-51 is sedate... take it from there for the maiden!
Pete B
Found some hints and tips here on the Hangar 9 website. Last paragraph describes where to measure C of G from. Lovely model! Pete

Mark R
Can i jump in on this thread......i have a H9 P-51 Mustang, tho not the one you have.......what is the undercarriage support like? Seems a little ermm flimsy to me, am i looking at a rebuild of undercarriage support after first grass landing? Is it worth beefing up before i fly it, if so has anyone done that mod? Cheers
