Roberto Gava
Hi, I'm considerign to buy this .40 size Pitts S1: http://www.rctecnic.com/epages/rctecnic.sf/es_ES/?ObjectPath=/Shops/radiocontrol/Products/XY-163 I always like Pitts bipe, but people in my club says that small scale fits bad on this model. A do like to know other oppinions, specially if someone had one of this size. Thanks for your help.
Barnesyboy
Not had that plane but dont be fooled by the vid on the link its not the same plane its a bigger aircraft. The warnings you have resived seem valid, all small Pitts ive seen or have flown have been very twitch and draggy airframes but if your up for a challange and you know what your doing flying a small fast bipe is quite rewarding BB
Roberto Gava
Thanks for the advise. I didn't saw the video until you told me. Is there someone who has flown a Pitts of this size? I don't know if my flying level is enough for this challenge, but don't mind if I've to wait some time to improve my skills. The fact is I don't like to spend much time in the field mounting a bipe and this size fits prefect to transport it mounted inside the car. Stephen Grigg
Hi Roberta,I bought the wrong models to start with, take your time ,allow the confidence to build with each model.Build up slowly be relaxed with what you fly, youll enjoy it that much more
Roberto Gava
That's what I was telling. I'm not hurried to have it. When I feel confident with my flying skills, this will be my bipe because I love how Pitts look and I don't like to be mounting so much time in the field.
