James40
I got back from yet another aeromed flight at 9am this morning after a gueling 22 hours on the plane to pick up another injured soldier from the desert and get him back to Birmingham. I sat in my back garden with a mug of tea and a big dunkers biscuit to relax, I totally forgot about it being the open day at work so I've been treated to a few hours of displays and flypasts (Spitfire being my favorite on sound alone). What a lovely way to relax after a pretty rubbish day.

David Ashby - Moderator
Bet the tea tasted good after a day like that James, you flying models tomorrow?
James40
Yep, I think the Parkzone Gunfighter will be going up tomorrow in the field behind the house. That's if the Mrs lets me, I'm only home for 8 days this month so it's a fine balance between family life and a hobby. I've already spent over £1K on doing up the workshop so my models can live in there (with me probably) over winter so I'm not exactly in the good books! I've been awake for 36 hours now, I can't sleep through F1 qualifying and Englands first World Cup game now can I ?
