David perry 1
If any youngsters fancy being an airline pilot, Thomas Cook are now recruiting for a fully paid cadetship. I think this link gets you there...Pilot but its also in Flight magazine. If not, you'll have to find it yourself...if you can't do that I think we don't want you! TC are a great company and the career is wonderful - though I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy ha ha! If anyone does go for it and gets an interview, feel free to PM me for whatever help I can give. Good luck David
David perry 1
I'm surprised this got no replies. Its not a joke folks, TC really is offering a sponsorship deal for would-be airline drivers. Are there no younger members here who fancy flying the big tin??? David
Reno Racer
David, I replied on Sat and completed the application on-line. I might be a bit older than required (35) and i'm a Chartered Engineer, but worth a try. Chris

James40
David, are TC recruiting pilots again or is this just for cadets who will come in at a substaintially lower pay band than a time served pilot making a move to the airlines ? I know several of our guys who's feet are itching. Wonder if they'll want a 40 year old eng
David perry 1
James, We are, as I understand it, starting the recruiting process for feeder pilots. The sponsored pilots will get ATPL then go to Flybe to learn to fly then they'll come to us. It makes sense and is a great improvement on the old CTC scam that was a nightmare. Thats all I know. Delta Whiskey
My son's just leaving school and should be well qualified, though the search on the link above, does not find any pilot jobs?
James40
It does if you fill in the correct boxes DW, that's you failed the aptitude test I found the vacancies in the North West so not really much use unless you like rain for 90% of the year.
