Colin Bernard
Looks good Carl - I noticed at both Cosford and Weston these seemed to be selling well so should soon see flocks of them !
David Ashby - Moderator
Nice one Carl, interesting to see those tail feathers flx a little. You pleased?
Tim Mackey
Well have to say that having seen and inspected the "clones" that were on sale at Cosford - I wasn't that impressed. These are much heavier than the original, don't have proper aerofoil wing section, and the paint job I saw on some of them was pretty naff TBH.I should stress that I have NO CONNECTION whatsoever with the manufacture of the original EPP eagle other than a very satisfied customer. Just had a very pleasant couple of hours soaring it up the Orme to much delight from many onlookers.
Tim Mackey
Incidentally Carl - is this the "clone" - or an original "EPP EAGLE"?
Stephen Jones
Hi , I bought two eagles at cosford the 30" and the 60" , I was disappointed when I found that they're clones .I have built the 30" one but haven't tested it yet and made of depron they dint easy . Reno Racer
where do you buy the 'proper' ones?
Tim Mackey
You need to put "EPP EAGLE" in the search box of E bay.

Mark Kettle 1
This one is not a clone its from DW Hobby - the mini eagle powered glider. Keep watching the video from time 7:35 onwards because you'll see and hear wonderful set of shots and piece of music and video put together from the 'RC Model Geeks' of Hayling Island UK. Very enjoyable and relaxing to watch. The Build of the above model. Edited By Mark Kettle 1 on 15/11/2018 09:11:
KiwiKid
Great to see the EPP Eagle still ticking along. I bought one of the original ones 11 years ago and the flippin thing is still going strong. As you might expect, the designer of the original EPP Eagle (who goes by the name of FlyParty) got ripped off by everyone he dealt with - including the guys cutting the kits for him. Here's my one - they were plain white originally and you to had get creative with the paints: **LINK** I got two sets of wings from FlyParty a few years ago, stitched them together and made a "Condor" using the Eagle's body - flies very well and I will get around to painting the wings one day - LOL.
