Fantastic pics Steve - really enjoy seeing the superb building talent on show. I was also intrigued to see the B&V 215 flying and the "triple nickle" (Arado E.555-2) hiding in the pack - hope it got some airtime. Bit of a fan of PSSish flying wings.

From an e-mail sent out to customers HK seems to be taking a somewhat flippant view of their predicament. Quite where all this sale stock is coming from I am not sure. But, the clock is running and HK has only 30 days from the judgement date to front with the bucks or the heavies (Justice Dept) will be brought in to start banging heads. Tweaking the nose of your judgement creditor is not really good business practice.

I would expect that HK had the USA operation "ring fenced" to contain the damage to those companies. Anthony Hand fled USA some time ago and stated that the USA operation did not have funds to pay the fine. The USA warehouse closed yesterday and people with orders pending are scrambling to get their money back. HK USA will probably go Chapter 11 and any incoming deliveries will be seized by customs.

Yes, it's important to keep the covering out of direct sunlight as it expands over open areas and crinkles to the point where it can adversely effect flight performance. Dark colours are naturally effected more than lighter ones.The only cure is to recover the open areas. The sticky backed covering seems OK when attached to solid surfaces.

With all the building time recently available I wonder if we have some more material for this thread. A while back I bashed a flying wing into a sort of late WW2 project type thing and have had a lot of fun flying it - also makes a great sloper with the folding prop. Hi Joe, firstly it looks like your transmitter is mode 2. Is that what you are used to? Secondly, delta configurations can take a bit of fiddling with. The parameters are the positioning of the servo leads on the RX and the positioning of the servo reversers (which you appear to have on the front of your TX). This obviously gives a variety of combos. Try switching things around and you will hopefully come across the correct combo. As mentioned, you also have to have the correct wing type (delta) selected on the TX. I have been flying a Sig Ninja sloper for many years, but decided to give it a new lease on life with a motor on the snoz. Had plenty of room for the gear inside the fuse and back mounted the motor on the solid hardwood forward section. On 4S she really honks along and still performs well as a sloper with the folding prop. -

Some armchair analysis: three things wrong there. - there is no need to run with a model like that, a good hard static throw at about 40 degrees should send her on her way. Make sure the pilot has some up elevator in place; - his hand was positioned behind the cg, so when the pilot powered up the pendulum effect dropped the nose and the launcher was very lucky not to have his leg sliced by the prop; and - for large models like that you need both hands on the model. In windy conditions have one hand on the fuse and one on the wing , in calm conditions some like to have two hands on the fuse. -

Maybe not so popular in Europe, but the Parkzone F-27 Stryker has had a huge uptake worldwide and helped a lot of folks get into the hobby over the years. The first model (brushed motor with seven cell Ni-Mh power) was produced around 15 years ago and it's descendant is still available (in upgraded format) from E-flite. It came in a variety of set ups from RTF package with remote to the bare airframe which retailed for 20 bucks in the States. This allowed all manner of fun stuff to be done to them - here's some of mine. Original with undercarriage and bomb dropper. Vulcan Su-27 Indoor Lotsa fun
