Ed Kershaw
Does anyone know if you can get fine pitch pinking scissors/shears, say, 15 to 20 teeth per inch?
Bert
EK You could try looking for craft scissors. Pinking shears with that fine a pitch probably wouldn't do the job for which they're designed. If you're looking to use them for rib tapes Mick Reeves sells some in different scales. Bert
Ernie
Hi Ed, thats really fine, like a hacksaw blade. Big bum tells me that such scissors don't exist. You could try laying a saw blade on top of some paper, and pulling a strip against the blade, if you see what I mean ernie

Plummet
If you look in some of the crafty shops they sell thingys to cut paper in pretty patterns, including ziz-zags, but I have not seen any as fine as you are looking for. They do also have spiked wheels for making perforations. Would one of these perhaps help. You might be able to cut along a line of perforations to get the effect you want. Hamish
I purchased a cheap set of scissors to cut solartex and all they did was tear the material, otherwise they were ok for cutting paper. Unfortunately you need to spend money.
Terence Lynock
The best scissors I have come across are Fiskers, I have been using a pair for years on all sorts of plastics and cloth and never had to sharpen them yet, regards.
