Roby
Hi, I want to buy a biplane, do you suggest a wots wot, a panic or anything else? Please help me choose a nice model to fly but to look nice too. Thanks
David Turner 5
If you mean ARTF, I can't offer much advice Otherwise ... Fly Baby... build it. ... flies well, and pretty. Fokker DV11... build it ... flies well and handsome. Panic is great flying machine ... pig-ugly. WotsWot poor VFM... OK-looking. My 2 Cents. Andy Green
Panic every time. I've just built an Xtra Wot and it was a terrible kit. ARTF might be better but..... A
Roby
Thanks guys, I think I'll get a panic, it should be on sale soon as kit and I can cover it up with nice film and make it look nicer. Do you suggest a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine? I was thinking a 4 stroke 91 Thunder tiger or a 2 stroke 61 os!
Andy Green
I've had 2 panics 1 with an OS FS 70 and one with an Irvine 72. Both were fantastic flyers, but on balance the 4 stroke sounded better. A
David Ashby - Moderator
I do think the WW is a far better looking model and of course they do have slightly different design remits with the Panic being a more 3D/ fun fly machine and the WW a more trad aerobat. What about the Sig Smith Mini Plane, trad kit which is semi-scale? Edited By David Ashby - RCME Administrator on 02/11/2010 05:54:

OS91 four stroke is the ideal power plant for the Panic IMHO - best with the flexible engine mounts Avicraft sell. Bert
flytilbroke
I use an OS 55AX in my Panic, goes straight up rapidly, till I stop it. On very low rates a very gentle flier. On maximum,,,, well look at Avicraft videos.
Bravedan
SC91 2 Stroke in my Panic............as per the Panic Teams preference.
