David Ashby - Moderator
Does it look like a plan or ARTF build Phil? A pic might help someone identify it perhaps?

David Ashby - Moderator
Phil, the reason for asking is that there aren't too many ARTF Eagles. The Seagull one must be the only recent product from any manufacturer so you could phone the distributor to see.
Phill Mainwaring
Hi David, On further investigation you might be right but I can't find any marks on any of the formers and ther's a couple of things I'm not happy about that will have to be redone, the covering is either quite good or it'a artf I'm hopefully going to send some photos through( fingers crossed)the weight is 5kgs with no servos or engine, Also thanks to Eric for his sticky It's now stuck on the wall Phill. David Ashby - Moderator
Phil Just remembered that Top Gun did an (albeit 66" span) ARTF Christen Eagle too - reviewed in the 2006 Special Issue which is in the digital archive if you want to grab a look. Flying weight without fuel 7.5kg. OS 200 FS up front. Instruction manual shows the C of G 156mm back from the leading edge of the top wing centre section. Phill Mainwaring
Thanks to you all for the input hopefully cml will come up trumps, Edgars plane is not a great deal of differance so I'll keep his measurments to hand, and I'll post the data for Eric if I get it off cml (this post is not finished yet). Edgar could you let me have your chord measurement please, Phill.

David Ashby - Moderator
Phil If all else fails, I've still got the contact details for the reviewer. Not sure if he's still got the model but I can ask
Phill Mainwaring
Hi Edgar, mine are 11inches so they're near as dammit thanks. Hi David I'll probably use Edgars plane as a starting point, if cml don't come through and you still have Julian Beckett the reviewers details cml produced an extra a4 sheet on setting up the cabane fixings to get the required incidence on the upper wing, Phill
Phill Mainwaring
Hi everyone, CML have come through trumps, I phoned on friday and spoke to a young lady explained the situation she said they would get back to me, I thought yea yea as nobody ever seems to do, TEN minutes later she phoned saying the model was discontinued but all paperwork was now in the post free of charge it arrived this morning how's that for service, I'd like to thank everyone for their help , and David for his wonderful memory, the cml paperwork states 7inches Erics formula worked out at 6.6 inches so I'll use Erics as a starting point or even between his and Edgars. Thanks to everyone again Phill.

If and when i do get one, i would like to use my zenoah 23cc, can anybody advise. Thanks Mac
