Matthew Lloyd
Hi Guys I've been sloping my Blizzard for a couple of years and now want to stick a twirly thing up front instead. Any recommendations for a moderately priced set up? I'm thinking 3S, as I already have a couple of packs. Motor and ESC suggestions please

ken anderson.
one of the lad's here got the most powerfull of the two m/plex set up's for his blizzard...and sure enough it went like a rocket......but was a handfull to slow down .... and easy to tip stall with the extra weight.......as mathew was asking for an economic power set up i think that the 250 watt turnigy and an esc for circa £35.00 comes into his request...if dosh is no object and he want's to put the wind up himself(big style) then the M/plex package is the way to go...... ken anderson ne...1. Lee Smalley
yeah the multiplex setup is expensive but i have not had any handling problems but for ML i think its too much the 250W would be more than enough for him very smooth flying model the blizzard very nice
Matthew Lloyd
Thanks chaps. I bought a 250W set up for a TT eHawk1500 a while back but didn't fit it (too much sloping to do!), so I will fit that and see how it goes.
andy harrold
i have a hobbywing 40a esc , 3536 turnigy motor 1300kv and 2250 3s lipo. all from giantcod. approx 400watts iirc prop and spinner are MPX from modelspot. i have flown one with a 4s squeezed in and a bigger motor. it goes up quicker, but not much on the way down! the GC Setup never got too warm, others have had cooling problems.
