flytilbroke
Not just slopeheads who fly when windy. I thought as it will soon be the Waterplane Splash-in Season that I would post a link,,, sort of. The video is longer than most, yet quite watchable. Loch Earn Splash In, October 2010. Feel free to do the proper link caper. Danny Fenton
Several of those pilots did very well getting their models down unscathed, rotten weather Cheers Danny
flytilbroke
Thank you very kindly BEB. I admit to not really wanting to do the convoluted routine. Yeah, was a bit rough. Always a "but", we really had a "Ball" . That Video was all or mostly all Saturday. Sunday we hauled the waterlogged tree out and continued the fun. What was really surprising given the weather,,,, the number of pilots who stayed the course even though they did not fly themselves. I chickened out and spent the weekend launching and retrieving. Not often I say thanks to a MOLE, he did well
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
FTB - having counted up, inserting a video is actually involves one less keypress than inserting a link and so is less work! So it probably took longer for you to insert a link to the video than it would have to actually insert the video BEB
flytilbroke
Happy to accept that BEB, problem is the way my memory works, then the key pressing increases rapidly and I ,,, what was I on about
