Tim Mackey
Just been told that Rez and Phil hav some excellent onboard footage of formation flying over the last weekend event. Still editing etc, but watch this space soon, I'm told its a cracker
Tim Mackey
And here it is. I particularly like the close formation stuff towards the end, where I can see that I really DID get pretty darn close to Phil Cooke's tail with my red Hawk. Great stuff, and thanks again guys for great weekend.
Phil Cooke
Yes it looks like I need a rear facing cannon for when you get a bit too close! This is a great video Rez, very nicely done... As for the flying, some good stuff in there too - we must do more of this sort of thing at the next meet, it certainly adds a new dimension to the write up and its great to see the models in action air to air. Clearly some 'wannabee' Red Arrow pilots amongst us. I think my favourite bit (albeit brief) is the inverted head to head pass where you see my Hawk pass underneath yours - very 'Top Gun'!!! Phil Cooke
Yes, shame about the Rx aerial out the back of my Hawk, I didnt think that might be in and out of shot... I'll tuck it away next time!
