Hogster
Great shots Stig. I love the ones of the red arrows. The last one would make a good desktop background
John Privett
Nice one Stig. Would I be right in thinking you were there on the Sunday? As I don't see a shot of the Vulcan and I think they were only there on the Saturday. I believe I saw 'your' Tucano on the Sunday too. One flew over Epsom Downs heading eastish in the mid-afternoon and back the other way a bit later
John Privett
Actually, with a little bit of "cheating" I've answered my own question! Assuming your Canon EOS 1000D had the correct date and time set, you were indeed there on Sunday 19th June and pictured the Tucano at 15:23 using 1/500 sec at f/8 on a 300mm lens. The Stig
Bang on John, can i ask how you were able to get that info?
John Privett
Either I was standing behind you... or a more convenient way is to look at the EXIF data with each picture. Not all picture editing software preserves the EXIF data, and some lets you modify it, but many pics posted on the 'net (including yours) have the EXIF data intact. You can view it if you (assuming Windows) go to a directory with the images in it and right-click on one of the image filenames and select Properties. You'll find the EXIF data under the 'Details' tab.
