Peter Miller
David Eggleton is a keen club member. He is one of our most regualr attendees and loves flying his electric helicopters and small electric aerobatic models. He often arrives a bit late with his models. On the other hand, on those days when he arrives late he has already been at the flying site giving us all a taste of this..

Tom T
Thats a great bit of filming and a magnificent plane! Have you tried flying a Model of his airplane with him? Could be a laugh as long as they don't collide.
Doug Ireland
Really enjoyed that Peter, thanks for posting it. Just goes to show what an aerobatic biplane can do in the right hands. And look, not a "prop hang" in sight! That is one thing I've never seen the fascination for, if you want to hover then buy a chopper! Is that his own aircraft Peter or a group ownership? Peter Miller
That is David's own aircraft. For years he flew a Tipsy Nipper and was pretty good in that but of course it was limited compared to the Pitts. Apart from flying in this spot he flies his practice sessions all round the area so as not to upset people. We have a cart track a hundred yards from our field, this is a local walk. I was standing there one day talking to someone while David was flying. A group of four people were walking up the track. Would you believe that they never once looked up at the display! Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
Amazing flying!!! The Pitts Special is probably one of my favourite aeroplanes. I liked the manouever he started off with......the 'plane screamed into the arena & then did a forward tumble...almost as if it had tripped over something......how did he do that then??? Peter Miller
Don't ask me! He also did a rolling circle round our patch but either it wasn't filmed or doesn't show uo too clearly.
