This has been going on for a while. Someone did post a caompartive picture recently showing that although they are decent copies (in the sense that they look like the real thing) there are indeed some tell-tale differences which allow you to spot the fakes.
 
Worryingly its not just HK imports there have been a few reports of folks buying these in the LMS!

I know it has been reported in the past but just lately Ebay has seen an upsurge of far eastern sellers offering these copies, I didnt use them in an airframe but only because I make sure everything is cosher before I do and anything out of HK or China is suspect until proven usable.
I put one on a soak test and after five minutes it sounded like an old steam engine, another servo being sold is a SG5010 which doesnt need a soak test before sounding like a coffee grinder because it does it from the first switch-on.
