I live in Binic, on the coast just North of St Brieuc so not too far from you. I fly off the cliffs here - 'slope' soaring with added dangers thrown in. I also fly from other sites including Tremuson airport. I am not into ic motors but the local club is full of petrol heads. I prefer electric as this is/was my line of business.
