Edgeflyer
Just acquired plan, CNC parts and carbon parts. Anyone built and flown this ? In particular where is the easiest place to find suitable foam for the lost-foam-fuse moulding?
Andy Green
I bought the kit of parts a few months ago, but not started the full build yet. I'm going to make a wooden fuselage but not the one suggested in the plan. Happy to send over my CAD files for you to take a look at / comment on. aviator
Philip, If you don't fancy making a F/G or wooden fuselage for your Thermal Magic, you might want to look at what I did. I got a fuselage and boom from Topmodel.fr which was actually for their Bliss electric glider. Also very similar are the ones for their Astra or Electric Swish models. If you check this link you will find some photos of the model - it flies really well too, the main problem is getting it back down again if there is any lift about! Hope this helps. http://www.esoaring.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=698&sid=5bc6c901e457e93f89d732f63bf8e7ef Dave.
