Gents,

A word to the wise.......

I really wouldn't over-think this too much.

The Pix-E will float along on the merest whisper of power, so it really is fairly academic just which prop is going to be the most efficient/powerful. As long as it squirts air backwards then it should be fine!

Steve i agree there i think that i will be getting one on my next order thats for sure need it for building next model may go with another one of Tim's builds... maybe even a old school bi plane .. if i fancy a challenge .... will keep in mind the prop idea not putting one on less its ready to go

Tim .. thank you didnt know if to go a little more involved with this on being little heavier and having the ailerons on it...

I know that is a little off the Pix-e but anyone ever heard of a precedent HiBoy training plane????

thanks Steve wish i could sell some he!he! loft is starting to fill up now got all my servos turn up yesterday only thing is ordered the other electrics from GS and rather than do card decided to paypal it.. wish i didn't now got to wait 10days .. for the processing ... so now i cant put motors in for a while.. not a happy chap..

i can make one from start to finish now in 2 days (with out the covering) getting the hang of things

i did make some changes to the rear window on the blue one see how it goes when i fit everything out in the front and if it makes the CG off to much

good afternoon pix-e fans
well i just finally got myself a V/A/W meter yes is pointed in the right direction by some good people on here.. been having a little tinker and now its all working very happy.. well just tested the original pix-e set up .... and looking pretty good i think... tested a 15 c and a 20c 1300mah 2s lipo on a 18amp esc and a CF2812 1650KV Motor ... and its showing these readings ... i think they look pretty good but I'm NO EXPERT

please let me know if this is any good if you can and if my reading are correct

prop 9x4
watts c15- 65w c20-88w
amps c15-10a c20-11.7a

7x5
watts  c15-39w c20-52w
amps c15-5.6a c20-6.7a

hope that sounds about right thats what the meter was saying
