Last night I threw it together and thought you may be interested 1st Coat of paint added badly Guts out of a 4-site With its UMX Brother the Afriel Test flight this afternoon at our local indoor meet. Mark commented that it was little pitch sensitive -probably due to the short moment arm, and the whole model may well benefit from scaling up a tad ( 10% overall or so ).I know Mark is hot-tailing it off to a comp tonight and tomorrow, so he'll likely not be here to answer for a few days Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Barnesyboy Posted February 5, 2012 Author Share Posted February 5, 2012 Thanks Tim, Model is 3mm aero depron. I moved the battery further forward today and it flew alot better. I think my problem Sat was I was trying to fly it like a 3d model and not nice flowing scale lines. I will be doing a 10% bigger one just to see. The reaction I got today at the F3P comp with it was incredible the guys loved it so I must be doing something right. I will keep you all updated and try and get some flying vid sorted.
