Andy Green
Inspired by this thread, and the comments, I have knocked up a simple web based application to do this. Its early days yet and could be greatly improved The address is www.Modelchaos.com, this is a domain I had parked and it seemed a shame not to use it. Have a look, have a play and if its of use then it can be developed more. For those that are interested it's build using ASP.Net (V4) and has a SQL Server 2008 R2 database back end, Andy
Bob Cotsford
Hi Andy, although I realise this is a WIP, a couple of comments in case you've missed the points raised - in 'sign up' there is nothing to indicate acceptance, but it then allowed me to log in and add models. The 'public' flag and notes don't seem to get saved, and I can only see the couple of models I've added. Hope this helps as it could be a useful resource. Andy Green
Thanks Bob, I've fixed the issues, but.... You can only see public models if you don't log in, once logged in you only see your own. Something I can work on. Andy
Andy Green
I've made some updates to the site www.modelchaos.com. You can now view your own models and others (public) models whilst logged in. Take a look, this is a non commercial app for the modeling community. You can add your models & batteries, and log charges ect. This is a work in progress and will be driven by what the community wants (if it wants it at all), Just a bit of fun for now. Andy
Olly P
Andy, Have signed up and put some batteries on, all the detail I can remember at work, but even though I clicked them as 'flight packs' they have gone on as transmitter packs. I would imagine one of your radio button output commands has gone a little skewed somewhere.... Olly
Andy Green
Thanks Olly, I'll check Andy
Andy Green
Should be fine now, The radios were OK, it looks like it was just the display that was wrong. (used the wrong ID field in the case statement) Andy
