Tim Hooper
It's that time of year again, when Old Warden becomes a Mecca, not only for the RC fliers, but also a chance for the free-flighters and control-line fliers to came and have a go. Here See you there? tim
Richard Harris
Tim, Without doubt one of the best Fly-ins of the season! its one of my favourite places. Managed to get down there today and had a good day of flying despite the blustery conditions Kept my eye out for you but we didn't cross paths. Had a crack at the Mercurian Mite comp and built my first control liner (the 'old man' was the pilot!), I just love the single model fun events its so much fun. The idea was to build the model and get a 60 second flight out of it. Easy? well I thought it would be a doddle but how wrong could I have been! There were around 40 models built and about 5 managed the 60's, our effort? 3 secs I have to admit it was the builders fault and not the pilots Didnt realise the tank feed pick had to be where it wasnt should have asked you gents! Hence the 3 second engine run Rich

Tim Hooper
Gents, I was there on Saturday, and enjoyed the day and the company immensely! I took 6 models, flew 5, and took all six home intact. Not bad for me, that..... tim
