Super 60

Three inches (76mm) back from the leading edge according to the Ben Buckle plan and a gnat's eyelash further back on the original Keil Kraft plan with the aerofoil section tailplane. This would put the c of g behind the main spars.

Mine flew with the balance point well forward, about one inch back from the leading edge! No wonder it liked to tip over on landing!

We stuck some wheel balance weights on the rear fuselage last Sunday and that stopped its nose overs but the balance point was still well forward of the recommended position. This goes to show that the Super 60 is not that sensitive to its c of g and will still fly well regardless of the balance point.
