Philip Farrands
Can anyone tell me the best position for the Cof G on a Super 60? Phil
simon barr
Hello Philip. As the Super 60 has a constant chord wing, start at around 25% back from the leading edge, that may even be where the spar is. Remember to balance it assembled ready to fly, but no fuel...
Tony Cooper
Phillip A program that I found **LINK** may be useful for all your CofG calculations. Tony

David Davis
Three inches (76mm) back from the leading edge according to the Ben Buckle plan and a gnat's eyelash further back on the original Keil Kraft plan with the aerofoil section tailplane. This would put the c of g behind the main spars. Mine flew with the balance point well forward, about one inch back from the leading edge! No wonder it liked to tip over on landing! We stuck some wheel balance weights on the rear fuselage last Sunday and that stopped its nose overs but the balance point was still well forward of the recommended position. This goes to show that the Super 60 is not that sensitive to its c of g and will still fly well regardless of the balance point.
