Nick Williams Posted October 5, 2012 Share Posted October 5, 2012 Hi all, Ive recently been looking at the Hobbyking Bixler2 and its not supplied with the ESC. It Specifies a 20a so I'm after recommendations of 20-25a ESC's, something solid & reliable. Will a higher rated (say 25-30a) be any better and last longer? Garbo Posted October 11, 2012 Share Posted October 11, 2012 Nick I hope its not too late but I am in the middle of assembling my Bixler2, I put the supplied prop on the motor and connected a 3s lipo through my power meter and the max amps drawn is 11amps and 120 watts. The recommended 20 amp esc should be fine for normal use. If you buy the bixler 2 from the UK warehouse the esc is listed under the ESC tab half way down at a combo price of about £4.50 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
