Roy Hill 3
Hello fellow modellers. I started modelling, probably like most of us, as a kid. Living near Rochester airfield, there was no shortage of light aircraft to observe. The bug really bit when I lived in Germany, where I took it up seriously. I had one of the first generation helicopters, with fixed pitch, which I could fly but not land! (Expensive) and a Dutch microlight which was a dreaam to build and fly. I left everything to a fellow German flyer on my return to UK in 1987. I started again, last year, this time for keeps and I have a WOT 4 to get my 'A' licence, a TN Lysander nearing completion and the 80inch Taylorcraft waiting for the right condition for the maiden flight. I have already used the forum for help with the Taylorcraft and found it to be a superb source of information and friendship. Happy landings! Radge
Hello Roy and welcome to the best model flying forum by far. I would love to see some of your building photo's if you would like to set up an album and 'break a leg' for the maiden of your Taylorcraft.
