simon barr
Hello David. I don't know which Tx's you are talking about, but if there are no Buddy sockets, either DIN type or Jack type, then I suspect that it can't be done... More info about the Tx's might help. Kevin Fairgrieve
I suspect it is the Plant T5 and 7. Planet T7 features: Simple one-button transmitter/receiver binding Side & rear ergonomic grips for maximum transmitter security Steel carry handle and neck strap mount Precision, adjustable height dual-axis stick units Front-mounted reversing switch panel Rotary channel control (channel 6) Dual rate (Elevator and Aileron) 3 position switch channel (channel 7) Unique slow-rate or normal-rate retract/flap switch (channel 5) Trainer switch Range check button Low power consumption 4-cell transmitter Lightweight (6 gram) micro 7-channel receiver Simple programmable fail-safe function Convenient crystal-free operation A PDF instruction manual is avaliable for the T5 Th T7 says their is a trainer switch, and the T5 refers to a trainer port. So yes it should be possible!! (of course I could be completely wrong). Kev

Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Assuming it is the Planet Tx's the T5's manual describes the socket on the back as a "simulator" connection - so it might only give output. If that's the case then the T5 would have to be the "student" transmitter - it also doesn't appear to have a trainer switch which would also support that view. david sanders 1
Thank you all for trying to help,we managed to work it out, firstly we bound the Planet T7 to my planes reciever an R6M, then without turning the T5 on we connected the Buddie lead between the two Txs. The T7 was then the master and theT5 the trainer, control was swapped by toggling the switch on the T7. once again thanks to you all Dave
