Phil May
Hi guys. What do you fly on the slopes when wind and lift is low?At times even my Weasel struggles and I'd like to get something for these days...Any ideas.CheersPhil
Tom Foreman
Same F3F mouldies I fly in big winds, wonderful thing ballast and a slippery efficient moulded wing that works well in light and strong conditions. Go on, you know you want to! Edited By Tom Foreman on 04/12/2012 13:18:09 Edited By Tom Foreman on 04/12/2012 13:18:
simon barr
I just fly a Multiplex Easy Glider, (not electric). Nice and light and floaty, and can make a pleasant change from hacking around the slope with an aerobatic job. Makes a good camera platform as well. Pete Stevens
Alula as if no wind at all you can side arm it up to fair height and have some fun. Radian Pro with no motor on as our slopes don't allow any powered models. I have also used really lightly built Zagi before which will fly in next to nothing. If there is a little blow I've flown a lightly built Limit EX but its not the most forgiving model if you close to the hard stuff!
Bearair
I fly my much loved and 30 year old Aquila, theres a lot to be said for an old fashioned "floater" design they fly a lot slower than the more efficent modern designs. Normally if Easygliders and stuff are struggling the Aquila will be just floating around gently!. Often the tx gets passed around even though i fly mode 1 and most others at St Agnes fly mode2 , in a gentle breeze you really only have to steer her around. 001
Multiplex Easy glider, same as above, quite good in medium strength wind as well, but the wing-flexing is a bit worrying then.
WolstonFlyer
The wiesel looks interesting, would it be a good first time glider?
Speedster
If you can fly a normal motorplane with ailerons, then it would be ok i think.

Chuck Plains
Since I only have two RC aircraft anyway, I fly both my bixler2 and my 2.5mtr foam winged Easy Pigeon. Needless to say, the bigger tha better in 0 - 1 beaufort. I think I need to find some one to advise and give me a little training to go power free gliding. Conwy Soarer
I fly a Speedo, Alula or DLG when the conditions are light, X models WHisper is quite good in light wind also. I am however thinking of getting a Boar for such conditions (when T9 have them back in stock)
