It flew well once in the air but I always had trouble keeping it straight and kept stalling it taking off too soon. Hope to try again with this new one - last one now in too many bits! The reasoning was that bombers had to fly straigth and level in order to hit a ship with a bomb, so that they would be susceptible to the HACS (unlike planes that flew evasive trajectories). The Tiggie in question flew straight and level at 85 knots around the British Mediterranean fleet for over half an hour without being hit by the HACS controlled guns.Oh, and can I have the Tiggie model too please? I suspect the artist or box designer may have been confused with the Swordfish which played a major role in damaging the Bismarck which was subsequently sunk by HMS Victorious and the Ark Royal.
