Martyn Garrett
A few photos of my latest "bonkers" build. Own design to see just how fast it would go! 56" span. Foam wing. Sheet fuselage. All glassed. J'En 56 up front. Two SC 32's on the wing. Flew great straight off the board. Speed not measured yet (only three flights so far) but it is definately quick!! Always wanted to fly a multi-engine but worried about what happens if one engine fails. This is set up so either the wing engines or the main engine can be idled independently, while throttle control is retained on the other. Or of course it can be flown on all three engines. Works a treat! Is incredibly fast and sounds fantastic on full chat!! Phil 9
I think we need a video of this in flight
Martyn Garrett
I agree. However, I'm not sure if anyone in the club can pan a video fast enough to keep it in frame! If I can get it video'd I'll post a link on here. Martyn
Stephen Jones
Wow . even that pilot looks worried . I build bonkers planes but that takes the biscuit . I am going to scout around for the finished pictures of this .
