Hobby King Spitfire 24

I liked the look of the new HK Spitfire 24 when announced a few months ago, so I bought one. It arrived promptly and I thought the cost including carriage very reasonable. When I opened the box I found that one of the flaps had detached because of a broken hinge clip. The hinges looked very flimsy, so rather than try to fix it I contacted HK. About two weeks later I received a complete flap set with hinges which had been re-designed and are now robust.

Because of commitment to the Tucano mass build I put it on one side and did not finish it off until this week. Flew it for the first time on Tuesday evening and it was worth waiting for. Looks brilliant in the air, handles beautifully and has a good turn of speed. For me it's the best foam Spitfire so far, highly recommended. I hear patchy opinions on service from HK, but on this experience I have no complaints.
