Rich too
I want to restore my 30 year old 50" Veron Tiger Moth (I built it in my teens). I have just bought a Saito 40 fs and I need a new cowl - any ideas where I might get one? Or a copy of the plans? Or perhaps a similar cowl from a similar sized Moth? The model has survived time very well and should need only minor work to get airborne. Thanks, Rich
J Moyler
DB Scale models do a similar size Tiger Moth. Give them a call, I amsure that they would be able to help you. JM
sharpy1071
Try Colin Smith, the original designers son who still has all the plans, he might have one or be able to help. His tel is 07747722724. Brian

Rich too
I have just started the light restoration. One of the cabane struts need resoldering, and the interplane struts are missing so will need to be replaced, and the hooks in the wings appear to be loose - is there a modern alternative to using piano wire, looped and hooked? Perhaps some fittings that would make the job quicker and easier? The Saito appears to be the perfect motor in terms of fit. ps I bought the plans and cowl - thanks Edited By Rich2 on 05/08/2015 11:44:
