  1. Andy, your full size video, real flying porn.
  2. Looks too nice to risk down at the field.
  3. Posted by david crease on 11/08/2013 10:52:46: this might be a ridiculous question.. .but can a WOT4e be hand launched?   Any conventional model that you can actually pick up can be hand launched.         Edited By Tom Sharp on 11/08/2013 19:42:28
  4. At the fIying field, I would not want my precious model to be parked alongside a model with it's Lipo being charged in situ. So I would object most strongly to this practice.
  5. Posted by Martin Harris on 08/08/2013 23:54:12: Didn't Boeing build their LiPos into the Dreamliner?
  6. Is that your phone or mine?
  7. One call you dont hear to often nowadays is "Interference".
  8. Posted by Dave Stedman on 07/08/2013 19:31:16: Hi Steve, its a Thunder tiger pro-36. I don't know about the prop as I don't understand. It says on the prop 23-10 9-4" what does that mean? thanks Metric and Imperial sizes sounds the right size for that engine.
  9. It was on BBC breakfast the other morning. A 3D printer printing out a realistic copy of the presenters head. The presenters said that these machines are available for less than 1K in High Street shops right now. So any small group of large scale modellers could jusify the purchase of such a machine.
  10. Posted by Phil Green on 31/07/2013 08:44:55: Tom:>>Spektrum is owned by and was developed by Bachmann model railways. Er... that would be 'Spectrum' Tom. A different thing entirely Hi Phil, I am going by what it says on the back of all Parkzone and E-flight instruction books. I Quote. The Spektrum trademark is used by permissiom of Bachmann Industries Inc.
  11. Barton, it was circling around my house while waiting for it's slot.
  12. My 14SG says made in Taiwan, and I love it.
  13. Great Pictures. Lovely picture of the Boulton Paul Delta, what was powering it?
  14. Posted by Frank Skilbeck on 30/07/2013 14:11:10: It's probably more that Horizon hobbies own Spektrum, Parkzone and E Flite so it's logical for them to develop their Ultramicro foamies amd helis around their inhouse radio system. Spektrum is owned by and was developed by Bachmann model railways.
  15. It all boils down to, which turns heads down at the field.
  16. I often wonder how a RR Griffon engined version would have performed.
  17. Digital servos feel the weight of the connected surfaces. Hold the model in a vertical position, ie not by the prop, and they will be silent.
  18. Posted by Martin Phillips on 29/07/2013 13:32:09: Let me guess. After unloading this lot, he realised he'd left his tranny at home.
  19. Posted by J Moyler on 27/07/2013 08:21:26: DB Scale models do a similar size Tiger Moth. Give them a call, I amsure that they would be able to help you. JM This is in two parts and has to be glassed together and painted, but is of good quality.
  20. What about the later DH Hornet, a much prettier version of the Mosquito.
  21. Posted by Brian Hammond on 26/07/2013 08:38:18: I noticed that the early ones had 5 exhaust stacks each side, how is this possible on a V12? The rear pipe taking the output from two cylinders lasted for a very short time, but was nesessary to allow the fitting of the two stage supercharger.
