Robin Kearney
Ok, so I didn't take this pic. But I just spotted it while looking through the photos my wife took while on holiday last week and it made me smile. My 18mo daughter loving carrying daddies TX back to the car
kevin b
That's the stuff ! Get em while they're young. I think that is about the age I was converted at. Never looked at a football again ! Mind you, back then it was rubber bands and oily diesels for power. Joking apart, never underestimate the effects of these experiences on a young person. She will probably carry these memories for many years. Well done. kevinb
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
As a Dad with one daugther I can tell you they just love doing stuff with Dad! Enjoy it - they grow up so fast, one day you'll look at her and she'll be a young lady and you'll wonder where all the years went! Days like that will remain a special memory! Mr.B.
Rob, You have it all wrong. I think you will find that you were carring the glider for your daughter. Top photo.
Martin Harris - Moderator
When my grandaughter was very young she was fascinated by aoroplanes and models - her favourite was "a biplane"...and a treat was to come out to the shed and watch me building (or rebuilding) my models. A few years on and the female indoctrination programme had imbued scorn for my modelling activities and indifference to the delights of the workshop (unless there's a problem with the iPad power supply or similar) that needs my attention. Enjoy it while you can, Robin!
Robin Kearney
lol, you might be right. Had I let her fly, then maybe this wouldn't have happened the next day
