David Cooke 1
I've built a 3ch 21" park flyer from balsa (no kit). How does the mini tyro fly please? Hoping it suitable for a relative newbie. Thanks David
Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
It flies very nicely David....in ye olden days wheh men were men & sheep were nervous the Mini Tyro was considered a trainer..... Lots of Mini Tyro threads on here...pop Mini Tyro into the search box... If you make it an electric version then make sure you don't overpower it.....60-70watts is plenty.... Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
Yes - agree with Steve the mini-tyro would be an excellent choice for a second model. Not surprising when you think about it - "tyro" lieterally means "beginner". BEB
David Ashby - Moderator
I couldn't see a Mini Tyro chat thread so thought I'd convert this thread. Good news, I've just uploaded the build article at the home page, click here to go direct.
