Eric Hartley
Hi Just purchased an Align 150 for indoor use (compatible with my Futaba 14sg Tx) having had some considerable use with my Blade 120sr and use of the Phoenix sim. However when spooling up the Align it skids across the floor to the left and I am reluctant to give it any more throttle in case it continues its direction to the left. I can't imagine that its an aileron trim issue as the model is fresh out of the box. I have certainly not experienced this on the sim. with cp models. Any ideas? Pete B
Hi lone flyer, Welcome to the forum I'm not sure what happened there - none of the mods seem to have seen your original post - would you be kind enough to re-post your reply, please? glen johnson
give it a little more power it will take off. the skidding off to the left happens if you don't give it enough power to lift off the ground it wants to sit at a very slight angle to the left in a hover (i can't remember the exact reason but it has something to do with the tail rotor i believe)
karl grey
I agree with Glen on this one but would say it would rather be banked to the right not the left when its in hover. You could hold a slight amount of right aileron in to hold her still while you build up enough head speed to lift off then ease it off again as the model gets air born. simon burch
There have been quite a few "bad" 150's out the box. So if you are new to it, i would try and find someone with a bit of experience and let them try it. Compared to some of the e-flite micros, the 150 doesn't take a lot of punishment before you will break something.
